This project is the result of a happy new partnership between The Coffeehouse Project, Stanley Congregational Church and Family Promise of Morris County, a non-profit organization that serves temporarily homeless families in Morris County.
The Promise Band Road Show makes a monthly visit to a Family Promise host location to present live music, dancing and music participation activities for folks who could benefit from the healing qualities of music. In between gigs, the band rehearses in space donated by Stanley.
This is community music with a capital C, which drives the mission of CHP: to use music as a tool for community and personal wellness.
